Many Things Don't Really Matter That Much

Very often, we experience extreme pain and sadness because of
certain events. Some time later, the sadness fades or disappears
altogether.
Ask yourself what really matters in your life. Now, look
back on your life. You will probably see many instances whereby you
were saddened by many things that are not really that important to you
at all.
At that particular time, the pain was real and very prominent. In
fact, if the same event happened again, you would probably still be
badly hit again.
But do remind yourself of what really matters, not just in the
short run, but in the overall scheme of things. Do be honest with
yourself, though.
Don't allow unhappiness from short-term and unimportant events
hamper your ability to be a happy person.
