Solve the Mystery of Living in the Light

“Come… live in the light…”, sings David Haas.

In this article, excerpted from his new book, Guy Finley teaches us to realize our potential for happiness and success, by being one with the Light, to be the Light of our Self. Surrender not to the darkness, but allow the Light, Light which is already living within us, to shine through.

This concept is not easy to grasp, let alone apply. Yet, I can sense the immense power it has in transforming our lives, if we do manage to do so. Read More »

Find New Strength in Awakened Attention

Do you often find your mind overwhelmed by undesirable thoughts, fears, and negative perceptions? Do you know that these thoughts are eating away at you and your life, playing a big part in producing the very negative effects which you had? Yes, our thoughts have an element of self-fulfilment, not unlike self-fulfilling prophecies.

In the following article, an excerpt from his new book, Guy Finley teaches us how to practice watchfulness, to regain control of our “attention” and to turn it to our advantage. It’s akin, the way I see it, to the “law of attraction”. It’s a great read. Read More »

The $25 Loan (Story)

The modern life is such a rush-rush state of affairs that, often, we fail to spend any semblance of quality time with our loved ones. Sadly, we perhaps place a lot more emphasis on money-related activities - making money, or saving money - at the expense of those we love.

This is a heart-tugging story of a little boy who just yearns to spend a little more time with the dad he loves. While most of us may not be quite so harsh on a small kid, may this story still serve as a reminder to us. Read More »

Blessed Christmas 2008 Everyone!

Dear friends,

Economically and financially speaking, it has been a rather rough year, and these are tough times for most of us.

But I firmly believe that there is a silver lining to every cloud. For example, leaner times will teach us to appreciate what we still have, as well as the simple things in life. They, in a way, force us to return to the things in life which really matter, like our families and relationships.

Take heart, hang in there.

Here is wishing you a wonderful and blessed Christmas. On that note, I have four things to day:

enjoy the love and warmth of family and loved ones

consumerism is NOT part of Christmas

25 December is but an arbitrary date

let us strive toward making every single day an embodiment of the true spirit of Christmas

          Have a great one!

Break Through Self-Doubt and Fear

by Simma Lieberman

Comment by allinspiration.com: Self-limiting mental patterns are the biggest barrier to achieving personal success. In this article, Simma Liebarman gives us some practical tips on how to overcome these obstacles and fulfil our full potential.

Self-doubt and fear interfere with our ability to achieve or set goals. Self-doubt and fear are the voices in our head telling us, “You’ll never succeed, so why try?” and “who do you think you are?” Self-doubt and fear are also what make us listen to those voices and decide to give up before we get started.

While many people experience self-doubt and fear at some point in their lives, they take action anyway. Others remain stuck, or are confident in only one area of their life, such as work. They are too afraid to try new things like going back to school, entering new relationships or learning new skills. Read More »
