Eradicate Constant Self Reproach
by allinspiration.com
Some of us always blame ourselves for the things that go wrong in
our lives. This syndrome is actually one of the main causes of mental
illness.
Not everything that goes wrong is your fault. Really. Even if it
seems like what went wrong was a direct consequence of your actions,
sometimes, there are other factors at play too.
Even if it was your fault. So what? Blaming yourself not only
doesn't solve the problem, it hampers your ability to find a solution.
Learn to let go. You're only human. You make mistakes.
What if it was your fault, and there's no solution? Self reproach
still achieves nothing, except make you feel worse than you already
do. Be gentle on yourself. You're human. Learn to forgive yourself.
Constant self reproach is unhealthy. Get rid of it. Forgive
yourself.
