Let Love, Not Fear, Govern You

Relationships are tough. Giving is tough.

It is always difficult to give of ourselves fully because, by doing so, we place ourselves in a vulnerable position, vulnerable to hurt and pain. Often, we hold back because of this fear.

But when we do, we lose out on a lot. We lose out on experiencing emotional intimacy at its fullest. We lose out on the feeling of loving and being loved. We lose out on taking a gamble and winning it. Our existence will not be complete this way.

Fear cannot bring fulfillment to our lives. But love can. Let our lives, and especially our relationships, be governed not by fear, but by love.
