Keep The Good, Dump The Bad

How do you maintain your home? Do you only keep the useful stuff,
the valuable stuff, and throw out the rest? Do you keep everything? Or
do you only keep garbage?
If you keep every single thing, you house is going to be one
cluttered place. Not exactly the most pleasant place to live in.
If you only keep garbage, then good luck to you! You probably have
a foul-smelling, crowded and unhealthy living environment.
Our mental health functions the same way. We have to put in effort
to constantly keep what we value and throw out all the unnecessary and
undesirable.
Find the good things in your mind and keep what's worth keeping.
Remember what's worth remembering. Dwell on what's worth dwelling on.
Banish the unhappy thoughts and feelings. Keep what makes you
happy!
