Be Part Of A Community

Studies have shown that being a part of a group of like-minded
individuals increases happiness levels in people.
You could be part of a church group, or a neighborhood group, some
activity in school, or just a bunch of friends. Being in a group
enables us to enjoy the fullness of community life and we benefit from
the mutual support and common interest it provides.
You could be a fan of a sports team. The unity enjoyed in cheering
them on and celebrating victories brings much joy. It is always
amazing how a sporting victory can unite the people of a country, with
people dancing in the streets, setting off firecrackers and honking
car horns.
On the flip side, there are the downs too. But, weeping and
mourning together also brings about a sense of closeness and support
and that, too, can raise happiness levels.
So, find an interest or some interests of yours, and go out and
enjoy some community life.
