Everyone Can Change The World
by allinspiration.com
Considering that there are so many
people on earth, it would seem that what we do is pretty insignificant in the
context of the whole world. Normally, only people of power and influence, like
a president or mayor or leader of some sort, can change the lives of others
greatly.
But, do not underestimate the
effect each and every person can have in making this world a better place.
A person can influence the lives of
those he or she comes into contact with by the way that person lives his or
her own life.
For example, by standing up for
what you believe in, you might move others to do the same. Similarly, being
helpful and selfless might cause others to behave the same way.
When you a touch a person's life,
the effect grows in that person, and he or she will go on to touch others.
It's an expanding effect.
Don't underestimate the potential
in each and every one of us to improve the world.
"What we do in life, echoes
in eternity"
Maximus Decimus Meridas, in the
movie Gladiator
