Are You Dying To Be Happy Tomorrow?
Do you have the tendency to be looking forward to tomorrow, always thinking that it would somehow be better than today?
Are you so preoccupied with the future that you have forgotten to live today?
Do you feel that happiness will come to you once today is over and tomorrow begins?
Many of us do, and this little writeup which I received in the email reminds us not to forget to live the present.
First I was dying to finish my high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
Then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was dying for my children to grow old enough so I could go back to work.
But then I was dying to retire.
And now I’m dying.
And suddenly I realized I forgot to live.
Please don’t let this happen to you. Appreciate your current situation and enjoy each day.
